Overview
An enormous blue Abyssal guards the gateway to the inner Black Temple.
Supremus is a fairly simple boss that oscillates between two simple phases. The first phase is a 'tank and spank'. The second phase is a kiting phase. If you can heal a tank and avoid volcanoes, your raid is ready to down your second boss in the Black Temple.
Abilities
HP: 4,500,000
Melee: Hits for around 5000 to 6000 on a tank. Crushes for 9000.
Enrage: Supremus will enrage after 15 minutes, increasing all damage dealt and his run speed tremendously.
Phase 1 Abilities
Hateful Strike: Hits for ~7000 on a tank. This will strike the person with the highest current HP that is within Supremus' melee range. This is physical damage.
Molten Flame: A blue flame that begins at Supremus' feet and moves in the direction of a specific player. If the player moves, the flame will change directions and continue going after that player. It will stop after moving ~40 yards. The flame on the ground will leave a trail of blue fire that deals ~2500 fire damage every second on a player who is standing in the flame. Despawns after ~20 seconds.
Phase 2 Abilities
Run Speed: Reduced to 90%
Gaze: Supremus will focus his attention on one player and move towards that player. This ability is on a 10 second cooldown, so his target may change as often as every 10 seconds.
Molten Punch: Supremus will use this on the player he is Gazing upon if he is within 40 yards of them. This will deal ~5000 damage and launch the player over 100 yards.
Volcanic Geyser: These will spawn after the, "The ground begins to crack open" emote. This spews out lava that will deal ~4500 fire damage every second in a 15 yard radius of the volcano.
Preparation
Raid Composition
The following raid composition is recommended for Supremus:
1 Warrior MT
1 Druid OT
8-9 Healers
14-15 DPS (ranged preferred over melee)
Assignments

/raid Supremus Tank: [Warrior MT]

/raid OT Healers: Quick: [1-2 Healers] Big: [1 Healer]

Gear Requirements
Main Tank
Use your best geared tank as Supremus hits hard. The more avoidance they have, the better.
Off Tank
Must have considerably more maximum HP than the Main Tank, at least 1,000 more.
Healers
,
DPS
Suggested to have at least 9700 HP raid buffed in order to survive two seconds of volcano damage. Use PvP gear if needed.
Consumables
Off Tank
Use all HP consumables: Flask of Fortification and 30 stamina food.
Healers
,
DPS
Use Elixir of Major Fortitude and 30 stamina food to reach 9700 HP.
Positioning
The following diagram illustrates the positions that should be used during Phase 1.
Main Tank
,
Off Tank
Stand together so the OT takes the Hateful Strikes when combat begins.
Melee DPS
Stand with the Ranged until Supremus is attacking the MT and the OT is in position.
Healers
,
Ranged DPS
Stand at max range to have most time to avoid the Molten Flame.
Raid Leader
Place raid symbols on the MT and OT so their healers will have an easier time finding them.
On the Pull
Hunter
Use Misdirection on the MT and pull Supremus when the raid is ready.
Melee DPS
Charge in to DPS once Supremus is hitting the MT and the OT is in position.
Phase 1
This phase lasts for ~60 seconds.
Tanks
,
Melee DPS
Throughout Phase 1, Supremus will be casting Molten Flame. Watch out for these and move away from them if one is near you or on top of you. In the last 5-10 seconds of Phase 1, the melee DPS need to get 30-40 yards away from Supremus.
Rogue
Use Cloak of Shadows to avoid taking damage while moving out of the flame.
Healers
,
Ranged DPS
Stay at maximum range and do not stack in a line. Spread out around Supremus so no more than 2 players have to move per Molten Flame. If a Molten Flame is moving in your direction, run side-to-side to avoid it.
Main Tank Healers
Two should be assigned for quick heals and two should be assigned for big heals. You will most likely be spamming heals throughout Phase 1. However, moving out of a Molten Flame is more important than casting or finishing your heal.
Offtank Healers
When the OT takes a Hateful Strike, at least 1 healer should use a quick heal and at least 1 should use a big heal. Get the OT to maximum HP as fast as possible.
Phase 2
This phase lasts for ~60 seconds.
Melee DPS
You can DPS Supremus while he is gazed upon someone. However, run away from Supremus at least 5 seconds before he switches his gaze.
Ranged DPS
You can go all out DPS on Supremus since there is no risk of pulling aggro. However, at the end of Phase 2, he will reset aggro when he switches to Phase 1. This means to not have any DoTs on him or damage hitting him when he switches between phases.
Tanks
,
Healers
In the last 5-10 seconds of Phase 2, the tanks need to be right on top of Supremus trying to build aggro and the rest of the raid should be out of his melee range. The MT and OT healers also need to be sure to be in range of the tanks. The symbols on the tanks' heads will help.
Raid
If Supremus targets you for his gaze, turn and run in the opposite direction of Supremus and kite him until he switches to a new target. Try to keep Supremus somewhat centered and in the position of where he was originally tanked in Phase 1 if at all possible. This will make it easier on the rest of the raid. There is a very large area to kite him around, so it should not be an issue to avoid death when gazed upon.
While in Phase 2, Supremus will be spawning Volcanic Geysers almost non-stop. These must be avoided at all cost. If everyone is above 9700 HP, then everyone should have 2 seconds to get out of the Volcanic Geyser. However, 3 seconds will typically kill anyone. Ensure that everyone has Healthstones and HP potions and is ready to use them. Losing too many players to Volcanic Geyser is really the only way to wipe on Supremus.
One last important tip to this phase is to NOT stand on any object in the area. If you are standing on an object and Supremus targets you for Gaze, he will summon you to his feet and hit you, most likely killing you. So do not stand on any of the equipment or any other object.
