Re: Hydross Strategy Discussion

A paladin tank is also awesome at handling the adds in the Hydross fight if you have one. Druids are also good and both these classes should be preferred over warriors.

Another thing that's good to mention is to spread out well during the frost phase to get less watery tombs.

Re: Hydross Strategy Discussion

These are both great points that I'll add to the strategy, thanks.

Is anyone using just ONE pally tank for all four adds? While he could hold aggro OK I'd think he'd need some really good gear to survive.

Re: Hydross Strategy Discussion

I tanked Hydross for about a split second after failing to cease dps.

I don't think having a paladin without any resistance gear on would be a very good idea at all, you're practically asking for a wipe.

In our strategy, we usually have 3 tanks tanking 3 of the adds and one of them banished with Banish (Rank 1), or if we are lacking a tank and have a feral druid, have them tank two of the elementals.

Hope this helped,

Haz
